It is my great pleasure to welcome everyone to the website page of Lourde College of Nursing. It is a division of Lourde Institute of Nursing Education in Taliparamba, Kannur and is an exceptional place to pursue B.Sc Nursing degree in God’s own Country of Kerala.

Lourde Institute of Nursing Education is entering into the 18th year of glorious journey from the humble beginning in 2001 with School of Nursing and in 2006 with College of Nursing. Today our Institution is a dream destination for students, teachers and parents alike. Our Nursing College and School strives to be an equitable, effective and interactive learning community that makes difference to education and human development through excellence in teaching, and services.

Since its establishment in 2006, Lourde College of Nursing was envisioned to be a leading college in the Northern Kerala managed by KANATE FOUNDATION and parentally affiliated to well known Lourde Hospital in Taliparamba Town. In the College of Nursing, we believe that Professional Nurses are built on deep commitment to Nurturing Excellence and Fostering Compassion.

Nursing is a dynamic and challenging profession which holds a great job potential in India and abroad, as demand for qualified workforce in hospitals and other health care institutions has been increasing. We are committed to prepare competent, caring, compassionate and innovative professional nurses to meet the global demands, which is truly evident through the placement of our graduates’ over the globe.

We are also committed in maintaining high academic standards with excellent team of faculty, best clinical training and with good infrastructure and hostel facilities. Co-curricular and extracurricular activities are part of master teaching plan for overall personality development of our students and we give utmost importance to the same.
